Transvac Tests Innovative Ejector Designs for High Profile Clients

Transvac's R&D test facility was in full swing for high profile nuclear clients. Innovative new Ejector designs (also called Eductors or Jet Pumps) were performance tested at its dedicated Test Facility to entrain radio-active waste simulant across a number of operating conditions.

The test programme determined the process conditions where 'cavitation' occurred and produced performance curves. The comprehensive test programme allowed the clients engineering team to design with confidence radio-active waste transfer systems using Ejector technology.
